2017 Honda Civic Type R Still Coming

It is hard to find anyone these days who isn't completely and utterly infatuated with the 11th generation upcoming 2017 Honda Civic, and anybody who has even test driven one understands all of the reasons why. Of course, fans of the sedan haven't seen anything yet, as the automaker has started to do some trials with the Type R iteration of the Honda Civic, and when it arrives at your Honda dealership serving Lemon Grove, CA within the next year, you'll get a better sense of just how great the new Honda Civic model line really is.

While the Honda Civic Type R has been a huge hit in Europe for years, American customers have been hungry to get their own version. Now, officially, it's on its way, along with an updated turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that could make a much as 340 hp, quite a bit more than the Euro-spec version of the car.

That performance, along with the vehicle’s redesigned front end and rear spoiler, make for an incredibly sporty Honda Civic in the current lineup and an undeniably spicy Honda model from the last decade, period. It looks great and drives great, which is exactly why we think California drivers are going to love it.

The Honda Civic Type R won't find its way to the Pacific Honda facility until next year, but it's a wait worth enduring for a model so fantastic. We invite all interested customers to stop by as soon as it does come out and we'll be happy to dole out some test drives. In the meantime, feel free to check out the other great Honda models available at Pacific Honda!
